“There is beautiful in the grotesque.”
Grotesque is a word commonly known as something that could mean odd, distroted, ugly or repulsive.
At the same time it could also mean bizarre or so shocking and horrible that it could be fantastic.
I decided to work with the literal meaning of the word “Grotesque”. The idea: to show something beautiful in the midst of something repulsive or distorted. Beautifully Ugly.
The link is that the typeface is masked by its name “Brandon Grotesque”, but the font itself is actually beautiful.
